FABULOUS FAKES EXHIBITION

Our studio looked fabulous too- all draped in black fabric with native flora,fairy lights and colourful artworks! Tealights in little glasses lined the front path to the street. Shoulder to shoulder people all excited about our new venture added to the ambience!Had to race out to buy more wine glasses halfway through the night!Must do it again next year!

My Klimpt copies

These are for a "Fakes" exhibition by members of our art society coming up in August- an exciting project!

Was on a roll painting these as I knew I would see Klimpt originals in Vienna!Especially loved portrait of "Judith",richly painted and bejewelled(in fact two of us set off alarm being too close to a "jewell"), and "Water Serpents", small and delicate on vellum? Saw "The Kiss" and others at Belvedere Palace and "Beethoven Freize" at Succession Building.
